09th August – Annual Pyrotechnic Display la Notte Di San Lorenzo

A beautiful show of fireworks at the Grand Harbour. This annual pyrotechnic fireworks show is synchronised to music and you can get the best display of it at the Vittoriosa Regatta Club.

11th August – Triathlon

The cross country national championship triathlon will commence at 7am from Bahar ic Caghaq. This is now a recognised annual athletic event that is sought by many local and foreign participants. For more information visit Triathlon Malta.

14th – 16th August – Glitch Festival

One of the most popular festivals in the country. Following the previous successful 3 editions of Glitch, this year the festival will host some of the most popular artists world wide. 16th -18th August – Summer Carnival

The summer carnival is celebrated on a smaller scale than the winter one, however, it is still enjoyed throughout the country. Here you can witness one of the Maltese traditions first hand.

24th August – Joseph Calleja Concert

Renowned for having one of the most beautiful voices on earth, Joseph Calleja will be performing at the Granaries in Floriana.
